MICROVITAL is a soil inoculant and premium natural fertilizer containing known beneficial soil microbes. This is our flagship product, and the major key to our success! MICROVITAL inoculates the soil with beneficial microbes (soil structure builders, decomposers, nutrient builders, nitrogen fixers, protectors, and plant growth hormone producers). The liquid base is bio-digested BiOmega fish emulsion, kelp, humate and fulvate, in a far more plant-available form than when supplied fresh. We ferment and grow a laboratory-bred batch of beneficial soil microorganisms in a controlled and aerated environment with a perfect food source. The end result contains all of the beneficial enzymes which the microbes have exuded during the fermentation process, as well as an extremely high number of the still-living organisms.


Microbes/Actions: Nutrient builders; improved availability of phosphorus, improved solubility of potassium, magnesium, calcium & trace elements, and Nitrogen fixation! – Decomposers; aid in the conversion of organic matter to increase levels of soil humus. – Natural production of plant growth hormones; microbial metabolic activity releases plant growth stimulants. – Suppression of microbial pathogens through both competitive pressures and the release of specific antibiotics. – Naturally occurring biologically derived product with nil withholding period and no harmful residues. – Beneficial soil bacteria and fungi, including species of: Pseudomonas spp. (inhibits certain species of fungi); Bacillus spp. (inhibits some pathogens, plus assists in P uptake); Azotobacter spp. (non-symbiotic N fixer & root stimulant); Azospirillum spp. (similar action to Azotobacter); Streptomyces spp. (Pathogenic fungi inhibitor); Polyangium spp. (Cellulose decomposer); Cellulomonas spp. (Cellulose decomposer); Trichoderma spp. (pathogenic to some fungi).
This is NOT Compost Tea! We’ve purposefully not gone down the compost-tea road in our inoculant production. Compost tea, when well-made and fresh (not drummed up and dead) has a definite place, but we would rather stick to known and tested organisms that perform known functions, than to take a punt that they may be present in a home-made brew. We’re in no way against compost teas or composts, and feel that there is great value to them (when fresh), but feel that products that can be made as simply and cheaply as compost teas should not be sold to the uninformed grower as bona fide inoculants at exorbitant prices. MicroVital IS a genuine inoculant, and there are volumes of scientific literature written about the organisms it contains.
Rates: 20L/ha. Apply through trickle irrigation, or through soil injection. Packaging: 20L (1,000L P.O.A.)
